With over two decades of experience in A&R, publishing and artist management, Benji Vermeil has played a pivotal role in shaping artists careers and securing high value deals exceeding 100 million dollars. During his 16 year tenure at Because Music he was instrumental in launching the companys US branch and building it into a highly successful operation, leading key projects and cultivating strategic partnerships that contributed to the companys growth. Since then he has negotiated important rights acquisitions and catalog transactions across multiple markets. His work has driven billions of global impressions for artists including Daft Punk, Prince, Stromae, Foals, Coldplay and Justice. JAB operates as a lean global studio led by Vermeil and supported by a small core team, including Marisa Balades, who oversees operations and client coordination across projects.
